To clean all the mud off of this; and its still not really clean.
started at 9am with a hose, realized I was going no where fast, ran out and bought a pressure washer, got back at 10, finished at 10 till 4...
there was so much mud, I took the hose, put it in the frame rail in the front, turned the water on and watched mud pour out from every orifice for at least 5 minutes.
I do like my new pressure washer though.

Looks like it was worth every minute of it.
I used to shove the lawn sprinkler under my Xterra after a bout with the mud monster.

I’ve only had to do that twice to my truck. You are right, it is an all day job.

I got a little ryobi compact electric one 1600psi, perfect for what I could use it for.

I've heard of taking one of the old school "fan" lawn sprinklers and placing it under the vehicle to get the caked mud off. For me the outside and roof were fairly easy to access, but the undercarriage was a bitch.
